This painting was made at the very beginning of my motherhood, when I was first getting to know myself as a mother — and discovering my true personality as a painter.

I wanted to express how being a mother can be blue, and can also flow into colors that express our emotions. Because becoming a mother also means meeting a side of yourself you had never seen before.
